Anaerobic Co-Digestion of high organic feedstock such as food waste with wastewater sludge is a feasible option to improve the digestion efficiency, stability, and energy benefit. Ireland is investigating this option of Co-digestion. It would be great to get an understanding from other members states that have experience of Co-digestion with Food Waste and Sewage Sludge. What are the obstacles to overcome, lesson learnt, legislative barriers etc.
